My driftwood painting are all original, creative works on driftwood found on the warm Caribbean shores of Panama. They are usually tropical, seascape, underwater, or scenes from nature painted on driftwood with acrylics.
The process and selection of each piece of wood requires an keen eye for what subject matter and form will best fit the particular piece or pieces of wood. Each painting is very tactile and unique. Some work is a single piece of driftwood while others can have multiple panels placed together to create an interesting collaboration of the individual wood and subject matter.
